Accessible entrance: The main entrance to the Town Hall is in St Aldate’s. Eight steps lead up to the entrance foyer.
There is an accessible level entrance approximately 28 meters to the north (towards Carfax) along St Aldate’s. The accessible entrance outer glass door at the northern entrance opens automatically to allow access to an inner entrance. CCTV linked to the Town Hall reception desk monitors this inner door. To the left of the inner glass door is a call button that will attract the receptionist’s attention to allow access to the Town Hall ground floor.
Lift Information
The lift can accommodate electric scooters. The lift entrance is 80cm wide with internal dimensions of 1.3m x 2.8m.

Bus & Train- The Town Hall is situated in the centre of the City on St. Aldate’s, a short walk from Gloucester Green bus station and Oxford Railway Station. Easy access to the M40 and regular rail and bus links to the rest of the country make Oxford Town Hall an ideal venue for both local and national events. Alternatively, use one of 5 Park and Ride sites with buses taking you direct to St Aldate’s https://www.oxford.gov.uk/parkandridesites
By Car: Oxpens Car Park, next to Oxford Ice Rink is open 24/7, and located approximately 15 minutes from the Town Hall on foot. Westgate Car Park, also open 27/7, is a 5-minute walk from the Town Hall.
